Sherryl Ashberg, M.D., is board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. At Emerge Weight Loss, she leads a team of compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Dr. Ashberg completed a family medicine residency at Shands Jacksonville, Chief Resident in 2003 and Intern of the Year, 2001. She earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2001, transferring from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1999. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Dean’s List, from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She is a Member of the Arthritis Foundation, West Palm Beach, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. In 2013, her career led her to Cape Town, South Africa, as a Medical Officer of the Department of Health and as a surgical assistant. Dr. Ashberg describes the years that she volunteered and worked in the rural areas and townships as highly rewarding as well as daunting, given the extreme lack of resources, teaching her to think more innovatively as regards to healthcare and to be more compassionate and grateful in her daily life. Dr. Ashberg is passionate about the healthcare issues facing women, children, and underserved populations. She enjoys the beach with her family, skiing, scuba diving, and volunteering at Furry Friends and the Big Dog Ranch.

Amanda is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner who specializes in aesthetic treatments. She began her professional career in aesthetics in August of 2019 at a medical spa and since then has gained extensive experience in a variety of lasers and injectable treatments. Amanda is passionate about making people feel good in their own skin. Her experience, education and dedication to innovation shows thru in the care she provides to each and every one of her clients. Amanda earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida, which allowed her to work as a nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for over 10 years. She graduated summa cum laude from South University in 2018, with her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. When she is not at work, Amanda enjoys DIY home improvement projects and experiencing new adventures and travels with her family.

Rachel is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience working in a variety of clinic settings to include primary care, acute specialties, and urgent care across the United States. She is passionate about providing individualized wellness education and supporting clients through their self-empowerment journey. Rachel has earned two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Central Florida and in 2017 graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. In her free time, Rachel enjoys cooking, biking, camping, and spending quality time with her family.
